NOTICE FOR AGM - 2006
Subject Alpine Club of Pakistan - Annual General Meeting  29 October 2006
1. It is hereby notified for the information of all club members that the Annual General Meeting of the Alpine Club of Pakistan shall be held on Sunday 29 October 2006 at Media Centre, Pakistan Sports Complex, Near Aabpara, Islamabad as per programme given below.:
  1. 1030-1100 Registration of all participants
  2. 1100 - 1200 Seminar - Panel discussion " promotion of Alpine Club of activities, issues and solutions. Panel to be headed by Col (Retd) M. Sher Khan, Vice President.
    (Open for all Club Members & Tourism related personnel)
  3. 1200 - 1300 Seminar -Panel discussion "Matter relating to Liaison Officers, Trekking Guides and high Altitude Porters. Panel to be headed by Lt Col (Retd) Manzoor Hussain, Executive Vice Presiden. (Open for all Club Members & Tourism related personnel)
  4. 1300 - 1430 Lunch Break.
  5. 1430 - 1630 Annual General Meeting. (Open for Club Members only who have cleared their annual dues at least up-to 31 December 2006).
2. Agenda points for the Annual General Meeting
  1. Recitation from Holy Qura'an.
  2. Approval of the minutes of the AGM held on 02nd October 2005.
  3. Report of activities by the Club representatives at various cities.
  4. Report by the Club Secretary.
  5. Approval of the Audited Accounts for the Financial year - 2005/2006.
  6. Appointment of Auditors and fixation of their remuneration for year 2006/2007.
  7. Approval of the programme and budget for the financial year 2006/2007.
  8. Any other point with the permission of the Chair.
  9. Address by the Club President.
3. Members are requested to send their confirmation to attend the AGM alongwith the additional agenda points for AGM, if any, to the undersigned by 15 October 2006. It may please be noted that no point/discussion/clarification will be entertained during the Annual General Meeting without permission of the Chair.
