Support  Hassan Sadpara, the first Paksitan Who has the honour
of Flying Pakistan Flag on the summits of Six High Peaks
in his Quest to Fly Pakistan Flag on the remaining
8 High Mountains of the World rising above 8,000 metres

Hassan Sadpara is the first Pakistani mountaineer who has climbed six peaks out of the total 14 Peaks rising above 8000 metres including Mt Everest. Hassan Sadpara hails from the village of sturdy mountaineers Kashmara, Sadpara situated near Skardu. He started his climbing career as professional mountaineer in 1999 in the company of visiting foreign expeditions and has since then climbed number of mountains. His record of climbing peaks above 8,000 is as under:-

  1. Nanga Parbat (8125 m)      - 2nd July 1999
  2. K-2 (8611 m)                         - 27th July 2004
  3. Gasherbrum II (8035 m)     - 22nd July 2006
  4. Gasherbrum I (8068 m)      - 29th July 2006
  5. Broad Peak (8047 m)          - 31 July 2007
  6. Mt Everest (8850 m)            - 12 May 2011           - 

He became the second Pakistani to bag the honour of climbing all five Pakistani Peaks rising above 8000 metres after climbing Broad Peak. Now after climbing Mt Everest he became the first Pakistani to climb six peaks rising above 8000 metres, On the recommendation of Alpine Club of Pakistan he was awarded President’s Pride of Performance (Medal) by Government of Pakistan in 2008. He has now been recommended for the award of Sitar e Imtiaz by Alpine Club of Pakistan.

Till date about 32 mountaineers have climbed all the 14 eight thousander peaks. Their achievements have not only brought laurels to the mountaineering world but also have brought honours to their countries.

Hassan Sadpara who is 48 years old and is physically fit and acclimatised to accomplish this feat for Pakistan. He plans to climb remaining 8 peaks rising above 8000 metres during next few years. All of these except one is situated in Nepal. In 2012 he plans to climb at least two 8000 peaks situated in Nepal.
