for Mountaineers |
| All peaks rising upto 6,500 metres are free from any
peak fee or permits etc. however, climbing activity on
mountains higher than 6,500 metres require a climbing
permit from Ministry of Tourism, Government of Pakistan,
who at present is providing 50% concession on the peak
fee for all other peaks. In addition 90% concession in
peak fee has been provided for all mountains situated
in the districts of Chitral, Ghizer and Gilgit. To encourage
climbing during the winter, 95% concession in peak fee
has been offered for all peaks between 1st December and
end of February. The present fee structure is as under.
